Co-organised by Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS), Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA) and Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA), will hold the YKDC Knitwear Show on 19 November 2025.
You will see Knitwear Design Collections from the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in this fashion show. All these knitwear outfits are designed by the AWARD WINNERS and FINALISTS of “Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025”. Co-organised by Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS), Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA) and Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association (HKWSKMA), the “Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025” is now open to fashion students and designers aged between 18 and 35 from the GBA Area.
Candidates are required to design 8 sets of knitwear outfit. The 10 finalists will be able to showcase their designs in fashion shows and exhibitions at international fashion events in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and be given the chance to sell their knitwear designs on online and offline sales platforms. The cash prizes of the contest are worth more than HK$50,000, while the winners will enjoy a free study trip to Seoul, Korea.
